JIIPE Cares : Share 2000 Lebaran Packages for Surrounding Villages

Gresik, April 2, 2024 - PT Berkah Kawasan Manyar Sejahtera (BKMS), manager of the Gresik Special Economic Zone (SEZ) - JIIPE and PT Berlian Manyar Sejahtera (BMS) as the manager of the JIIPE Port Area, again organized a CSR activity entitled "JIIPE Peduli" with the theme "Rangkai Kebahagiaan, Rajut Kebersamaan" in the month of Ramadan. This activity is a form of JIIPE's concern for the community around the industrial area, especially in welcoming Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijri.

The event which took place at JIIPE Office Lt. 2 was attended by Agung Guritno, as Director of HR & Logistics of PT BKMS, Alex M. Simanjuntak as Director of HR and General of PT BMS, Hendriawan Susilo, S.Psi., as Manyar District Head, Community Leaders, representatives of tenants in JIIPE Industrial Estate, and beneficiaries.

On this occasion, JIIPE Peduli distributed 2000 food packages to orphans and poor people in the villages around JIIPE, namely Manyarejo Village, Manyarsidomukti Village, Manyarsidorukun Village, Banyuwangi Village, Bedanten Village, Tanjungwidoro Village, Kramat Village, Watuagung Village, Karangrejo Village, Leran Village, and Peganden Village.

In addition to the villages around JIIPE, the food packages were also distributed to Islamic Boarding Schools and also the Indonesian Muslim Blind Association (ITMI) Gresik Regency.

"JIIPE Peduli activity is our commitment to share happiness and establish a close relationship with the community around the industrial area," said Agung Guritno. "In this blessed month of Ramadan, we hope that this compensation can help ease the burden on the community, especially in welcoming Eid al-Fitr".

Agung added that JIIPE Peduli is an ongoing program that will continue to be carried out by JIIPE. "We want to continue to contribute positively to the community and help improve their standard of living," he added.

On the same occasion, Hendriawan Susilo, S.Psi., as Manyar Sub-District Head, appreciated JIIPE's concern for the community in his area.

"We really appreciate and thank JIIPE for its concern for the community around the industrial area. This activity is very beneficial for people in need, especially in the month of Ramadan, "he said.

"We hope that JIIPE can continue to contribute positively to the progress and welfare of the community in Manyar District," hoped Hendriawan.

This activity also involved active participation from tenants in JIIPE Industrial Estate, such as PT Freeport Indonesia, PT Berlian Manyar Sejahtera, PT Hailiang Nova Material Indonesia, XYG, PT Adhimix PCI Indonesia, and PT Unichem Candi Indonesia.

We would like to invite all tenants in JIIPE to jointly contribute in helping the community around the industrial area. With the spirit of togetherness, we can ease the burden on society and build a more prosperous environment, "concluded Agung.
