The East Java Government's discourse to make the Java Integrated Industrial and Port Estate (JIIPE) which opened on March 9, 2018 in Gresik, East Java as a Executive Economic Zone received support from PT. AKR Corporindo. According to the Director of PT. AKR Corporindo Suresh Vambu, JIIPE in Gresik is a valuable asset, and can open up new jobs opportunities so that it can increase economic value and investment.
In his interview with Bisnis.com Suresh said that the Gresik Government synergy with the East Java government in coordination with the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) to support the success of this JIIPE project.
In order to achieve JIIPE's goals as an investment field, and an industrial area for the management of JIIPE industrial estate developers and managers, PT. The Berkah Manyar Sejahtera area which also oversees PT. AKR Corporindo and PT Pelabuhan Indonesia III proposed JIIPE as a special economic area for technology and manufacturing. PT. AKR Corporindo optimist that the project to make JIIPE a Executive Economic Zone will continue to show significant growth.
